Shipwrecked on a deserted island in new Day One release Seeds of Resilience

Ever had a dream about being stranded on a deserted island? Seeds of Resilience, our newest Day One release, lets you live out this dream by having you manage a group of survivors that washed ashore a deserted island, and re-create a civilization for them to survive.

The game takes place in a turn-based manner. At the beginning of each day, every villager gets action points in the form of hours. Then, you use this time to perform actions like harvesting or crafting. When all villagers have used all of their time, you end the turn and start a new day.

In the early moments of the game, you use this time to scavenge for anything edible and useful around the island to survive the first few days. As time progresses you need to build to last. Craft fishing prongs, basic tools, a simple hut, and go from there. With more and better tools and resources available you can build elaborate houses and mechanized workshops inspired by real medieval techniques! The developer definitely did their homework and did extensive research about medieval construction and craftsmanship, as well as survival techniques. Pretty cool, right?

If surviving on its own is not challenging enough already, you're regularly facing relentless storms, earthquakes, and tidal waves to make life even more difficult. Are you up for the challenge?
