In Other Waters

This game has received raving reviews about the excellent balancing of story and gameplay by players and critics alike. Time to dive in and see for ourselves how we like it. First of all: the visual appeal. The game uses a very consistent aesthetic of being in a submarine vessel and travelling underwater in gorgeous tones of blue, green and yellow. But, don’t let that deter you, because there is a fascinating story that’s being told really, really well.

In a future world, you are Ellery, a xenobiologist, who’s been sent to a planet by her organisation to learn more about life on the planet. Upon her arrival, she finds the base of operations abandoned and no colleagues in sight. All she has to find out what happened (and to find a way to safety), is a malfunctioning diving suit and a strange AI. You are playing as her AI and it’s your job to see to it that she returns safely. You get to explore the entire world by diving, learning about creatures, making discoveries and unlocking more facts and fascinating environments.

Kosmokrats

This is a hilarious, satirical game that lets you star in a space opera. Pilot your ship through the adorable retro interface, and be prepared to laugh out loud at jokes hidden around every corner… you know you’re in for a ride when a game calls you to adventure with these words: 

“Comrades! You have grown bored of Earth, and rightly so. Take your life into your own hands by joining the SPACE FORCE. As an elite drone pilot in the SPACE FORCE, you will learn to use your drone to assemble spaceships in orbit.
