Utomik Cloud improved with new technology!

In the past few months, we’ve worked with many amazing partners like Samsung and Tate Multimedia to bring our large, diverse selection of video games to as many people as possible. Today, we’d like to present some technology we’ve been working on: CloudCaster! 

With this technology, we’ve encoded the games in such a way that we can offer our users a smooth and responsive gaming experience. Through this, users enjoy enhanced quality and performance. And with our new smart algorithms, the gaming stream will be adjusted dynamically to the user’s connection to ensure optimal video quality and minimal buffering. 

Additionally, we’ve also managed to minimize the input latency. User inputs now have near-instantaneous response times, so our subscribers enjoy an even more engaging and captivating gaming experience. It is important to note that the stream's quality and latency depend on various factors, for instance, the user's location and internet connection.

What does this mean for our partners? To begin with, the performance of games such as Metro 2033 Redux and Spiritfarer®: Farewell Edition will be improved. More importantly, however, we are now able to release amazing games that were once unable to join Utomik Cloud, like:

• Call of the Sea
• Kao the Kangaroo
• GRIP Combat Racing 

Partners like LG will benefit from our new tech by being able to offer more — and better performing — games to their customers, while Atari and other content partners will see even more of their games on a variety of platforms. 

And, of course, we’re always looking for more great games to offer on the platform that our subscribers desire — whether that’s PC, Android, or smart TV.
